We Are People on a Journey

My life is certainly reflection of a journey with my Master who graciously guides and gently leads me onto the path that propels me to walk out the destiny He has carved for me. Not because I am worthy, but because He is faithful and full of mercy.

Having walked the life of a broken child, a prodigal son, a religious servant, a threatened impaired and finally now by the mercy of God, one desiring to be just a slave of Jesus who can live comfortably with confident assurance in my Master’s house, I am learning contentment and peaceful rest regardless of circumstances.

Be it suffering or be it acclaim, it matters not, because it’s my Master’s responsibility to shelter me. Aligning with my Master’s time and agenda, I cannot go wrong because I have a really good Master who ensures that all things will work out for my good.

In the boat with my Master, my boat cannot sink.
In the grave with my Master, resurrection power is at hand.
In the face of scorn and despair, there is peace.
In the face of failure, He washes my feet and graces me with bread and wine.

There is unlimited provisions in my Master’s house, I can never lack.
What more can I ask for?

Nothing, but to rest and float in the river of His unfailing love, and wait for the day I shall behold His glory on either side of my eternal home.

Thanks be to God Almighty! – J.N.

  1. As I listened to the participants’ sharing last night, I’m reminded of the faithfulness of God and the beauty of being in a community. Their reflections conveyed God’s truth and character to me.

  2. Indeed the session has encouraged me to a timely conviction of my walk with the Lord to be taken more seriously and awareness of my need to see the Holy Spirit’s guidance in my life.
