We Are People on a Journey

We Are People on a Journey is such a beautiful way to describe the Christian life.

I think about “the shadow of the cross” and the constant connection we have with His Spirit in every aspect of our lives. We can’t describe what and why we do certain things without relating it back to our beliefs in Christ.

We remember Jesus’s servitude even though he was the son of man. He walked the path of humans. He came to serve and calls me to do so too. I remember the times I used to parade my self-independence around like a crown until he revealed to me the attitude of serving. I was brought low, to a place of humility. My soul has been set free against the chains of pride.

The Lord paints a picture of our forever home, with Him in the middle and his sons and daughters around him, living off his glory, no more pain, no more suffering. Just breathing in the pure Spirit of God. And it is definitely something that has been giving me strength to put one foot in front of the other. – V.S.

  1. As I listened to the participants’ sharing last night, I’m reminded of the faithfulness of God and the beauty of being in a community. Their reflections conveyed God’s truth and character to me.

  2. Indeed the session has encouraged me to a timely conviction of my walk with the Lord to be taken more seriously and awareness of my need to see the Holy Spirit’s guidance in my life.
