I asked where is my homeland? The Chinese idiom 路在脚下家在心里 (Path Under My Feet, Home In my Heart) speaks out. My home is here right now. This sweet home that God gave many years ago. But the Home Sweet Home is Up There. I look forward to rest in that Sweet Home forever and ever. I am walking towards that direction step by step by His power and grace. – H.P.C.
We are pilgrims on a journey to our eternal home.
Our life on earth may be dotted with sufferings and persecutions for our faith, but we know that Christ our Lord is our guide and protector. He understands our pains for he has known betrayal, desertion, pain and suffering on the cross.
Our master’s task for us is to speak peace and life to those He has brought across our path, and to serve with humility.
We look forward to the day when our task on earth is done and we have arrived safely Home. – M.F.
As I listened to the participants’ sharing last night, I’m reminded of the faithfulness of God and the beauty of being in a community. Their reflections conveyed God’s truth and character to me.
