As I grow in my relationship with God, I am learning to take baby-steps to surrender my-self-will to God.
At crossroads, I am learning to ask what will Jesus do in those challenging situations? I need to conscientiously remind myself not to be “quick to act” and “to control my tongue.” It is important that I am willing to wait and trust in God’s timing to discern the next course of action. This is the defining process of being formed by the Holy Spirit to be Christ-like. This is God’s will for me.
God has revealed to me “Discernment is not I but God in me” (quote by Dag Hammarskjöld). Discernment is ultimately about doing the will of the living God.
In my daily journey and as I encountered cross-roads, God’s goodness, grace and mercy had helped me discerned what I need to understand and how I should act so as to obey my Master’s way.
My Abba father teaches, guide and reveals precious gems (insights) to help me walk in obedience to God’s will for me. All Glory Be to God. Amen! – A.O.
As I listened to the participants’ sharing last night, I’m reminded of the faithfulness of God and the beauty of being in a community. Their reflections conveyed God’s truth and character to me.

Indeed the session has encouraged me to a timely conviction of my walk with the Lord to be taken more seriously and awareness of my need to see the Holy Spirit’s guidance in my life.
